The International Longevity Summit will be held at the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid. ICOMEM, the official name of the institution that brings together all legally practicing doctors in Madrid, was founded in 1893.
Its Great Amphiteater is the most beautiful Classical auditorium in Spain, the same place where the Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Spanish Nobel laureate, gave its lectures.
The headquarters of the Colegio is located on Calle de Santa Isabel, occupying the facilities of the former Hospital Clínico de San Carlos, next to the famous Queen Sophia Museum, that hosts the Gernika painting by Picasso.
